Keeping things easy is what Frank is all about. From today Frank is enhancing its customer experience by enabling members to add their membership card to Apple Wallet on their iPhone and Apple Watch.
With a Frank membership card in Apple Wallet, members can simply hold their iPhone to an eligible NFC reader and authenticate using Face ID or Touch ID to make seamless, on-the-spot claims at any extras healthcare practice. This can be used at any HICAPS, CommBank or Tyro health insurance payment terminal in Australia. Users are also able to make gap payments easily and securely by using their credit or debit card in Apple Wallet with Apple Pay, which adds to the true digital wallet experience that this announcement brings.
Frank Brand Manager Nick Ilievski said the ease and security that membership cards in Apple Wallet brings to its members is essential as they’re on the go.
“We know the number of people still lugging around a physical wallet is dwindling, with users seeing the convenience that digital wallets like Apple Wallet bring to their daily lives,” he said. “We’re excited to make our membership cards available in Apple Wallet from today and know that our members will be confident they can always make a claim with just their iPhone or Apple Watch,”
The new feature will be a welcome addition to members, with 47 per cent already using the app.
To add the Frank Health Insurance member card to Apple Wallet, members can:
- Download and open the Frank Health Insurance iOS App.
- Head to the main menu and select the ‘Digital Card’ section.
- Tap 'Add to Apple Wallet' and follow the prompts.
For Apple Watch users, once the card has been added to iPhone, it will automatically sync to Apple Watch.
The Frank app already allows members to log a claim in under 60 seconds with the snap and claim feature. Members can also use Live Chat* to speak to real people about their policy, which means no awkward phone convos to handle curly questions about policy details. Available to all smartphone users, the app makes health insurance easy with quick claims via photo or PDF upload, and access to claims history. Manage payments, view cover details, update contact info, submit documents, and request a new card, all in one place.
*Live Chat available 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
