Frank has negotiated special agreements with the hospitals listed below. These agreements provide Frank hospital members with cover for accommodation (shared & private room), theatre, delivery suite, intensive/coronary care and a range of services provided by the hospital (subject to any excess). For further information regarding private hospital admissions contact us.

Information about the Healthscope Group of Hospitals

After continued negotiations, we’re pleased to announce that Healthscope Ltd (Healthscope) are no longer terminating our contract. This means that the 38 private hospitals operated by Healthscope are still on Frank's participating private hospital list.

There is nothing you need to do. We’ll be communicating further information with members soon.

Further changes to our participating private hospitals

NSW and ACT

Members in Sydney, NSW and Canberra, ACT please note:

Frank no longer has an agreement with Genea Fertility and effective from close of business 13 December 2024 the following hospitals are no longer on our participating private hospital list:

Genea Day Surgery, Sydney NSW
Genea Liverpool, Liverpool NSW
Genea Norwest, Bella Vista NSW
Genea Canberra, Deakin ACT

Any new admissions to these hospitals may have greater out-of-pocket costs incurred as we will no longer pay the same level of hospital benefits as we did prior to termination of our agreement with Genea Fertility.

Please note that transitional arrangements apply for the following circumstances:

If your treatment commenced prior to the contract termination date
If you have pre-booked a procedure
Patients who are already undergoing a course of treatment
If you require an emergency admission

We recommend you contact us on 1300 437 265 and speak with your specialist/s if you or a person covered under your health insurance policy are planning to attend one of these hospitals.

VIC

Members in Melbourne, VIC please note:

Frank no longer has an agreement with Gastro Medicine & Endoscopy Group and effective from 5 January 2025 the following hospitals are no longer on our participating private hospital list:

Mornington Endoscopy
Rosebud Endoscopy
